Electric vehicles could be used to harness energy for other appliances
Researchers at Northumbria University have come up with a system that allows electric vehicles (EVs) to store renewable energy when not in use that could then be fed back into the National Grid.
Should they win a General Election, the Labour Party would spend £3.6bn on an expansion of the UK’s electric vehicle (EV) network and would launch a scrappage scheme for motorists to trade in their polluting cars for an EV.
