‘COP of the business world’: UK’s largest net zero event confirmed

Reset Connect London is the biggest sustainability expo in Britain and focuses on helping organisations better align themselves with climate targets.

Running from on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June at ExCEL London, more than 5,000 people are expected to attend. 250 exhibitors have been confirmed, alongside 350 speakers. In total, 150 plenary sessions will feature over the two days.

The agenda for Reset Connect London will focus on how businesses can better align themselves with climate targets, including promoting behavioural changes and redefining what sustainability means. Best practices will be shared, and funding routes explored in a bid to improve the flow of ‘green capital’ – a key issued highlighted in this year’s Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change report.

Guests for this year include Rt Hon Chris Skidmore MP, Chair of The Net Zero Review, the National Grid’s Chief Sustainability Officer Rhian Kelly, and Doughnut Economics Action Lab Co-Founder, Kate Raworth. You can find full details here.

‘What excites me about joining the change-makers gathering at Reset Connect London is the ambition and courage of participants and speakers to undertake a journey of transforming their own businesses and organisations, so as to create the thriving economy of the future,’ said Raworth.

‘Each year there is a huge build up to COP. But each year policymakers and business leaders come away from the event feeling disheartened. Not enough is being done to encourage collaboration, and the format of COP itself fosters exclusivity over accessibility. We’re responding by breaking down those barriers,’ said Duncan Reid, Co-Founder of Reset Connect. ‘Radical collaboration is needed to achieve ambitious climate targets. But we know businesses can’t do this alone. Reset Connect London is about equipping businesses with the necessary support, connecting investors with viable proposals and creating solid, and pragmatic solutions.’
